Memorials Pilgrimage Drawings

During the trips, I am making drawings sketches related to the sculptures, responding directly to experience and research, seeking elements from the area and the poetics of materials. Subsequently, I am continuing with research and self-questioning, both conceptually and within my artistic practice in the studio. I am developing a full body of works on paper in the following years making different stops for the study tour. Many of these pieces have frames made out of high-fired stoneware.
